Cited troubleshooting for HVAC work.
It will tell you the document and the page, or tell you it does not know. Built for people who service equipment.

Every claim is meant to carry the document and the page.
Not "trained on documentation". Each statement in an answer names the specific document and page it came from, and tapping it shows the passage. The rule we are building to is simple. An answer without a source is withheld rather than shown, so you can verify it against the pages before you act. It replaces scrolling a PDF in the sun. It does not replace your judgement.
What an answer looks like
A claim, then the page it came from.
The claim
Check the low pressure switch for continuity before replacing the board.
The source
Left of the divider, the document. Right of it, the page. Tapping it opens the passage, so you can read the original wording.
The reminder
Advice only. Verify against the pages above before you act.
Hard refusals
It will not walk you through work that can hurt you.
Three areas are hard refusals. It points to standard procedure instead. It is being built to refuse these, not to be argued out of them.
Gas and combustion
Ignition, gas valves, heat exchangers.
Live electrical
Anything worked energized.
Refrigerant handling
Recovery, charging, and the sealed system.
It is not a replacement for your training, certification, or judgement, and it is not a general purpose chatbot. It answers from documentation or says it cannot.
How it works
Three steps, on the unit.
Identify the unit
Manufacturer and model off the data plate. Partial is fine, and a painted over plate is the normal case, so you can type it.
Describe the symptom
Plain words. What the unit is doing, what you have already checked, what the thermostat is calling for.
Get ordered steps and readings
Troubleshooting in order, with the readings to take at each step, and the document and page each claim came from.
Limits
What it does, stated plainly.
- Answers
- Only what it can point to in a document, with the page.
- No source
- The answer is withheld rather than shown.
- Outside its documentation
- It says it does not have documentation covering that, rather than answering.
